Speaking at the Bitcoin 2025 Conference today, Steak ‘n Shake executive Dan Edwards shared brand-new information and insights from the business’s current move to accept Bitcoin payments internationally via the Lightning Network. “On May 16, we started accepting Bitcoin as payment– and we are allowed to do so by law,” Edwards began. To celebrate Bitcoin integration, limited-edition Bitcoin-themed menu items are launching this week in Las Vegas, including the Bitcoin Burger, Super-Sized Bitcoin Meal, and Bitcoin Milkshake.
